The Impossible Rigour of the Real-Ideal: on Badiou's Post-Cantorian Platonism
Revised version of paper originally presented at the 2010 Austarlasian Association of Philosophy conference at the University of New South Wales. Feedback very welcome as a) it recapitulates a (small) portion of the argument of my thesis and b) I am thinking of reworking it, tidying it and adding an appropriate scholarly apparatus in the hope of making it into a suitable journal article.
